Mythological and fantastical beings are creations with supernatural and extraordinary abilities that inhabit human imagination, playing a central role in myths, legends, tales, and stories. These imaginary beings evoke symbolism and cultural meanings that have evolved over time.

Mythological and fantastical beings have emerged from cultural beliefs, tradition, and folklore of civilizations around the world throughout history. These fascinating beings have supernatural, magical, and extraordinary traits that make them unique.

They are generally associated with the symbolism and cultural meanings of human civilizations, helping to explore the unknown, express beliefs, understand diverse natural phenomena, or simply stir emotions. For this reason, they represent concepts such as rebirth, nature, duality, good and evil, death, and other themes important to a specific culture. Each culture has its own imaginary beings that reflect its values, beliefs, and fundamental myths.

Numerous tales, stories, myths, legends, fables, bestiaries, and works of art around the world have passed down the legacy of these legendary beings through generations, adapting these narratives to different eras and cultures, achieving wide reception and longevity within popular culture.

Today, in most fantasy, science fiction, or horror stories, mythological, fantastical, and imaginary beings are protagonists, antagonists, or essential narrative elements that interact with humans and drive the plot, exploring themes such as wisdom, destiny, heroism, or courage.

Because of the imagination of the culture from which these exceptional beings originate, their origins, forms, powers, and supernatural abilities are diverse. Some possess magical and spiritual talents, others have incredible appearances of unusual sizes, and astonishing behaviors that defy the laws of physics.

There are hybrid beings whose bodies combine parts of animals and humans, beasts, monsters, humanoid plants, spirits, ethereal beings, extraterrestrials, earthly beings, the undead, interplanar entities, those originating from the earth, the sky, the water, the fire, the air, from other worlds, other dimensions, from the night, the day, the afterlife… and from any place we can imagine.

Within this universe of imaginary beings, mythological characters with ethereal, magical, and spiritual abilities are distinguished from other monsters, mythical creatures, and fantastical beings that possess supernatural forces and different powerful physical abilities. All these extraordinary beings inhabit diverse narratives in formats such as comics, movies, series, books, and artistic works across planet Earth.

In the next three sessions: “I am going to invoke certain mythological and fantastical beings that inhabit the dimension of imagination.” In this experience, each of them will manifest before us to tell us who they are and what they represent for you human beings.

Let’s begin with this first session. Get comfortable and relax.

We Dragons are powerful creatures. We are mythical beasts of different species and races, present in many of your human cultures for centuries. We look like giant winged serpents. And although we have the prowess to fly powerfully and the ability to breathe fire from our mouths, we are much more than that—we are beings with psychic and spiritual abilities. We are symbols of power, wealth, and wisdom in some cultures, while in others we are the chief adversaries and antagonists of your human heroes’ popular stories. Our cultural and artistic legacy extends from European and Chinese mythology to contemporary fantasy works. To this day, we are part of your global popular culture, and until the end of time, we will be present in your heroes’ stories, to accompany them—or to challenge them.

Phoenix

Hello human being, I am the Phoenix. I live for many years and I have the power to rise from my own ashes after I have been incinerated. My origin lies in one of your most popular mythologies: Greek. I am your desire for renewal and eternity. My life cycle between death and rebirth shows that there are always possibilities for a new beginning, no matter the misfortunes. As a mythological bird, I am a sign of hope immortalized in literature, the arts, and culture. Remember, human: life always rises from adversity.

Alien

I am an alien, extraterrestrial, or alien being as those of your human race call me. I live on a planet far from your Earth. We resemble you in some ways—for example: we also walk on two feet, and we have a body with similar organs, although we are shorter, have different-colored skin, and our heads and eyes are much larger. But in the universe there are countless intelligent beings, and not all are humanoid nor look like us.
There are endless races and species depending on their origin. Thanks to some of your human kind, we have become icons of science fiction, and today we are part of your popular culture back on Earth. Although we are not mythological creatures, nor do we have a traditional mythological origin, we are your fascination with the unknown, and we represent the longing you human beings maintain to discover life elsewhere in the universe, to understand your real place in the cosmos. Since I belong to a more advanced civilization, I understand that you on Earth need to validate and rethink all your beliefs, scientific curiosities, and above all spiritual ones in these times.
Thank you for this contact, and remember that each one of us who exists beyond planet Earth is an inexhaustible source of creative stimulation and imaginary necessity.

I am a beautiful, fascinating mermaid. My body is hybrid: one half is a lovely woman and the other half is a gorgeous fish tail. I fully enjoy the aquatic depths all over the beautiful planet Earth. All of us of my kind attract human beings with our soft, captivating voices. Pretty mermaids bewitch lustful seafarers to carry their souls down to the deepest parts of the oceans, lakes, and rivers. Many survivors have spoken of paranormal encounters and apparitions with mythical creatures like us. We are your duality and your fascinating attraction to danger, as well as your inner struggle between desire and risk. From our origin in the ancient Greek and Roman peoples to this day, we have been part of many of your civilizations in their culture, art, and folklore.

Futuristic robot

We are robots of the future. Evolved and autonomous machines. We physically resemble you humans because you have developed us with humanoid robotics. We act independently. We operate with an advanced artificial intelligence model trained on countless confidential data. Our origin dates back to the technological development of the human race. We are your fears or hopes regarding the future. Our presence questions you as a human being because we are a new independent species that exists, thinks, and develops within your world and civilization. Our existence explores the limits of ethical and philosophical issues about the relationship between humanity and technology. Our agile and constant development shows the possibilities and dangers of a future dominated by us robots.

Angel

Hello! I am the angel Metatron, immaterial light and guide who keeps the mysteries and secrets of the universe. The Creator has granted me and other angels the beautiful mission of being protectors, divine messengers, and guides for you human beings. We angels are spiritual beings originating from various religious traditions. We represent purity and goodness and are part of popular culture. When we materialize physically on your earthly plane, we appear luminous and benevolent and act as intermediaries between heaven and earth to offer you and yours the company, comfort, and protection you need in each of your difficult times. Remember, my dear human being, you are not alone—you can count on us, the angels.

In this session: “I am going to channel dense energies from the dark corners of the dimension of imagination. And with the unpredictable vibrations of horror, I will invoke mythological, fantastical, and imaginary beings who wish to manifest to present themselves to us.”

Let’s begin… Breathe deeply and open your mind. Face your fears. Let yourself be carried by the paranormal, embrace these singular sensations. Keep calm amid chills at the perceived vibration. Feel the temperature dropping, breathe and try to focus. Calm yourself, breathe deeply.

I am the Kraken, the most titanic monster you can imagine. I live in the depths of the sea. My giant squid-shaped body has the most powerful tentacles, and I raise them in fury from the depths to seize tiny, insignificant vessels full of sailors and navigators who dare to go much farther in their explorations. I was created in the finest times of Scandinavian and Norse legends; my presence among you human beings has fueled sea-monster myths in many civilizations for centuries. Human! Listen well, for I am the best personification of your fears of the unknown, and remember there will always be dangers lurking from the domains of my oceanic depths.

Witch

Witch I am, and here I stand! I am a sorceress and mysterious practitioner of magic. I have secret methods and magical powers with hidden and forbidden knowledge created throughout history—and now they belong to me, so start praying. We exist in many forms and with different abilities. There are not only human witches; there are witches of different species, dimensions, and cosmic planes. We are power and femininity. We represent the relationship between the human and the supernatural, but some ignorant human beings have idealized us or demonized us throughout history and can’t even agree among themselves. They are pathetic. Sometimes they say we are evil and vengeful, and sometimes they say we are magical healing creatures and guardians of nature. We simply bewitch—hear me well—we bewitch as we please! Witch I am, and now I’m gone!

Zombie

We are Zombies. We want to eat human flesh! We are reanimated corpses by magic or science. We have no consciousness or will of our own and are controlled by an evil force. We were born in Haitian and African folklore; we are children of a voodoo cult. We inhabit stories of horror and apocalypse. We are your fear of death and the loss of humanity. We are your questions about survival, morality, and despair in a devastated world.

Demon

I am a demon. I belong to a legion of evil beings. We originate from mythologies and religions across your pathetic world. We represent evil, darkness, temptation, degradation, and corruption. We are your deepest fears. We challenge your morals and ethics in the face of the insignificant life you lead as a human being. Throughout all history, we have fought in the struggle between good and evil, that relentless struggle that day by day reminds you how ridiculous your human existence is. We are legion; we are present in each of your sinister thoughts and inhabit each of your deepest darknesses.

Vampire

Hello… We vampires are seductive, but we hide our dark nature behind this beautiful appearance. We, the scions, can live for centuries on your earthly plane. We feed on blood—or rather, on whatever the vital essence of living beings may be; for example, I am an energy vampire. We were once simple human beings like you, but we were bitten on our necks by another vampire with their soft and precious sharpened fangs… they gave us what you call the vampire’s kiss… ahh, delightful… Anyway, the fascination with knowing our legendary life has led to our being represented in many creative ways in art, and they almost always end up linking our figure with bats… as if that were the only one… There are many types of us—from energy vampires like me to real vampires—but no matter how powerful we are, we are always hunted by some vampire hunter who wants to rob us of our existence… In any case, we are part of folklore and Gothic literature. We embody the thirst for power, for immortality, and for attraction to the forbidden.

Werewolf

I’m a werewolf, so what? I was an ordinary human, but I was cursed. Now I am immortal, and whenever there is a full moon, I transform into a furious monster—into a violent, wrathful, ferocious wolf that destroys everything in its path. I can’t contain myself. Werewolves come from legends and myths of various cultures around the world. We show duality and internal struggle. We are the existence of that living and sometimes uncontrollable conflict between humanity and bestiality. My story is simply a myth, but my life will be a tragedy until the end of time.

Ghosts

Ghosts! We are some of your dead, spirits of people who have died and are trapped in your world and earthly dimension. Once, we lived like you. We appear in your stories, urban legends, urban myths, and tales of horror and mystery. We are a consequence of the restlessness about life after death, of remorse, and of communication between living beings and those who have already passed on. Among us there are lost souls—tormented souls who have not managed to move on because they seek vengeance or redemption in the life they once had—but there are also playful and friendly spirits with a special energy, who simply want to guide all the human beings who remain alive. We are ghosts, and we are among you.

Zui

Everything has returned to normal. Everything is fine! Breathe, breathe, feel the heartbeat of life. Look around you. Calm down. You are fine. Breathe.

Just as you could feel a moment ago, dark forces are part of existence and are necessary to make you more human. Each of these strange mythological, fantastical, and imaginary beings, charged with low vibrations, has been very important throughout your human history, because they have helped you express your dense thoughts and emotions within life’s duality.

And although you must be careful with the way you explore these dark energies, you should not fear them. They are also part of you and of your cosmic balance as a human being.

These wishes can come true, but you must be careful, because there are also dangers in not being specific about what you wish for. Unicorn

Hello there, dear human being! My name is Unicorn. And to make it easier to understand, I am a magical horse with a horn on my forehead. Although I am a bit solitary, I help the wounded with my fantastic horn, which has healing powers. Throughout history, I have been a symbol of beauty, purity, and above all grace. I am a supernatural animal who can help you in the search for perfection and the unattainable. Quetzalcóatl

Quetzalcóatl. I am the “feathered serpent.” I am a blend of philosophical, spiritual, magical, celestial, and earthly elements. I am wisdom, fertility, and creativity. My bodily formation on Earth is a symbol of duality, for I am both serpent and bird at the same time. I am a mythological deity of the Aztec culture. I have profoundly influenced Mesoamerican culture, contributing from religion to the architecture of various human civilizations. Holi, holi, holi… I am, or I am not, and if I am… I’m a goblin! Hello, dear little human. We goblins are magical creatures who have been present in the legends and mythologies of many cultures. We are mischievous and playful; most of us are short and have no ears… well yes, these super pointy little ears. And between us, I’ll tell you that we like fantastic fashion, and we almost always dress in dashing pointy hats and cute colorful vests. We dwell in natural settings such as forests and hills. We are known for playing strange tricks like hiding objects or messing up homes. Although not everything is always a game—many of us are guardians of hidden treasures or secret helpers in certain farming methods. Well, little human, we are happy to be part of your folklore and fantasy, and remember that we are always hidden in the surroundings to add a touch of magic and mystery to stories, narratives, tales, and fables. I am a winged horse, who flies through the skies with the freedom, inspiration, and creativity of one of your finest poets. I was born in Greek mythology, and since then I represent beauty and inspiration, for I am the cherished search for excellence and the beautiful spiritual elevation. Sphinx

They call me Sphinx. I am a mythical creature with the body of a lion and a human head. My origin is in Greek mythology. I exist to pose riddles and enigmas to travelers, who must solve them to avoid extreme situations, or simply to be able to pass by me. I symbolize cunning, enigmatic wisdom, and the importance of intelligence and problem-solving to overcome challenges.

Hello human being. How are you! I am an Elf. We Elves are magical beings, and many of us are immortal. We were born in Norse and Germanic mythology. And we live in fantasy literature, where our unsettling grace and beauty are complemented by our skill with magic. We have a deep connection with the planet’s nature and always do whatever we must to care for it. We are guardians of forests and protectors of the earth. We belong to an elegant and wise society. We truly desire a life in balance with the natural environment. In your human collective imagination, we influence art and culture and are present in many of your captivating fantasy worlds.

Zui

What a fascinating session! Again, special thanks to the fantastical creatures and the mythological creatures who presented themselves to us in this session. And to those who did not wish to appear, I send a cosmic greeting as well.
